These batik paintings are all produced on heavy cotton with professional colour and light-fast dyes. All beeswax has been removed by immersing in boiling water, so when necessary the batiks can be washed in warm water with mild detergent and carefully ironed. They have been finished with wooden rods to facilitate easy handling, allowing them to be rolled. Instructions are available for making a light box and stretching the batik so it can be back-lit in its final location. Hanging on the rods in a window is also effective, or front-lit on a wall, or free-standing hanging from a beam or ceiling.

These signed Giclee prints have been professionally produced on canvas and are stretched on wooden frames for a neat, attractive presentation. They are technically exacting and done one-at-a-time in small quantities, thus the prices are higher than the earlier transfer prints on fabric of which many were printed.
